Resumo: This organization aims to connect people from different cultures and backgrounds. They organize cultural exchange programs: send Swiss youths abroad for short- (1-4 months) and long-term (6 or 12 months) exchanges and receive youths from abroad (from all 5 continents) for long-term exchanges.

Getting to know a different culture through working as a volunteer in a social or cultural
institution and living with a local host family widens one's horizon and supports people's personal
development while encouraging understanding and respect between different societies and cultures.
They tries to achieve these goals through its cultural exchange programs:
- They send Swiss youths abroad for short (1-4 months) and long-term (6 or 12 months) voluntary
services.
- They host youth from all over the world for long term exchanges (6 to 12 months).
During their exchange programs, these young people work as volunteers in local institutions and live
with a host family.
The organization team consists of 4 part time employees, 1 trainee and 1 EVS volunteer. The
programs are implemented with the help of many voluntary co-workers.

Perfil: Requirement: Knowlegde in German and English.
Age: 17-30

Tarefas: The volunteer will have the opportunity to have an insight in all the field of the organization and to
have his/her own project which corresponds to her/his competencies. He/she will have the opportunity
to have contacts with the co-workers of ICYE as well as with the Outgoings and Incomings.
What the volunteer can gain:
 insight into all the various and interesting tasks of a non-profit organization
 deepen his/her German - English and French knowledge
 intercultural learning
 work experience in office administration
Activities for the volunteer:
 everyday administration work
 helping to organize and participation in camps and activities for the Incoming and Outgoing
volunteers
 helping with the marketing work: information evenings, workshops, stands, facebook page
 creation of additional leisure activities for the ICYE volunteers ICYE Switzerland
