Resumo: We have 3 offices with computers, copy machines etc. On the first floor there are access to the gym hall, (music) recording studio room, seminar hall, 2 dressing rooms together with 1 sauna room, 1 art classroom and a radio room. On the first floor we also have a big room for concerts, pool and table tennis. It is also possible to play boardgames over there and buy some coffee, tea and sweets. It is possible to use free wireless internet.

On the second floor are 2 offices, where the first is for Career Counselling and the second one is for Youth Information. There is also a big living room with TV with DVD player and Wii, table games and air hockey. Also there is a kitchen, DJ room and managers office.

In addition we rent the rooms for birthdays and different sport activities (basketball, hip.hop dance, volleyball etc). We communication with other governmental organs in the city, like schools, kindergartens, sport clubs, city council and nearby youth centres and youth groups.

We have youngsters from age 6-23, the most average age is between 7-17. Here are boys and girls from different background, culture, language (russians and estonians), interests etc. We deal also with problematic youngsters.

We have many sport clubs(football, basketball, volleyball, skying club etc), artistic clubs(musicschool, theatre group, art classes etc), health center with swimming pool, gym and aerobics, in good condition rollerskating and running roads.

We have several shops and a market and libraries. There are often concerts, theatre spectacles and all kind of different activities going on. We have several café’s and 1 pub to spend time.

Perfil: - age: 18-30 years old

- some experiences in leading a project or a group

- creativity

Tarefas: The volunteer responsibilities would be: making different workshops in chosen areas, lead the work of youth groups, support the co-workers in the centre, helping youngsters to realise their ideas, promote youth center and its activities and more. Volunteer will take part in all process of all the work, meetings etc. Most of the time he/she would be involved with teenagers.

Horário: He/She normally works from Monday till Friday.

Volunteer will work in the center 4 days a week, 6 hours per day. In one day in a week a volunteer will work in another organization. The biggest part of the work day will include socializing and playing with young people. Because the youth center is opened until 9 pm the main working time is in the evenings.
