Resumo: The Youth Center has one main youth center in the city and three smaller youth rooms. The volunteer will also have the possibility to be part of the youth work in other Youth Center close by. All of the centers are within a 15km radius. The Youth Center offers a variety of activities to local youngsters, main target group being ages 7-20. In addition, some activities involve participants up to the age of 26.
Many events are planned, coordinated, and carried out with other organizations in the community.
The main possibilities at the youth centers are skatepark and different competitions,
developing digital literacy, recycling workshops, helping youngsters to carry out their own ideas, cooking classes, and work education. The center also has modern sound equipment.
Every week the open area's activities are planned out by the team and the volunteer will be part of making the plans.

Perfil: - Aged 18 - 30 years;
- Motivated to volunteer;
- Able to communicate in English;
- A genuine interest in youth work;
- Willing to try and learn new things;
- Flexible and reliable;
- Interested in communication and cooperation with young people;
- Able to work in a team-oriented environment but also to be able to take their own initiative;
- Responsible, creative, curious, and open-minded;
- Good communication and empathy skills;
- Able to support and stimulate different types of leisure activity, from indoor to outdoor activities;
- Ready to take some initiative over time to contribute to the activities of the youth centre;
- Competences in artistic expression and/or experience in sports or music field are very welcomed;
- The true will to overcome the possible language barrier with the children and to learn Estonian;
- Willing to live in Estonia, to experience the local life, culture, and Nordic climate;

Tarefas: The main tasks for the volunteer will be to connect and communicate with the local youth and to offer them an opportunity to improve their foreign language skills and to learn about a different culture. The volunteer will also be part of the activities carried out at the youth center. Since a Waldorf kindergarten is operating in the same building, the volunteer will have an opportunity to work with younger kids aged 1.5-6.
