Resumo: The Municipality is dived in different sectors in charge of several tasks:
- Sector "General Affairs and Innovation, Attorney's Office and Municipal Police Office", that mainly deal with Human Resources, Citizens Services, Cultural Policies and Tourism, Municipal Police and Civil Protection;
- Sector Economic-Finance prgramme and finance dealing with budgeting, general accounting, audit, local taxation and heritage;
- Sector Territory in charge of urban planning, public building, demanium, green environment planning, healthy cities, manufacturing activities, trade, fishing and agriculture;
- Sector Public Work in charge of execution of public works and Infrastructures, markets, urban design, public Space and Areas, Contracts, Maintenance of Public School Buildings, Sports Facilities,
Networks and Infrastructures, Roads and green.
- Sector Welfare in charge of housing policies, immigration services, Sports, Social Educational Area
(Minors, Schools, and Meal Service) Health Care Area, Senior Citizens and Disabled People and Social Security Area.

Perfil: Candidate should be over 18 years old and registered to the ESC portal;
Must be very motivated and committed to the voluntary activity;
Interested in the topic of the project;
A minimum B1 level of English. Knowledge of italian language is a plus

Tarefas: The volunteers will be involved in activities taking part in the youth centre and in the site of the municipality. The volunteers will work generally 36 hours/week from 9 to 14 and on tuesday and thursday also from 15 to 18.
The work will be distributed over the week on several offices:
- Project “Colto e Mangiato”. To support the maintenance of the “public garden” where youngsters and elder grow plants, vegetables and different trees. Volunteers are required to keep a book of the activities, record v ideo as tuttorial, cook the products and create typical dishes, etc...
- To support the creation of a centre for groups of youngsters committed in democratic participation and civic engagement.
- To cooperate in engaging young people to enroll in the civil service, civil protection for health and environment purpose.
- at the Environment Office as a support for project activities with schools, organization of environmental events and the activities of the Forum Agenda XXI and the "Healthy Cities" OMS project.
- to collect historical, cultural, environment and rural information of Molfetta in order to create brochures, touristic guides in different languages.
- to support the organizations of the city in implementing their events such as: plastic free, cleaning the beaches, etc...
- Assisting and support the Europa office regarding other European projects
- participation and organization of social and leisure activities, supporting other organizations, immigrants, refugees and protection of the local heritage etc...
An important part play the complementary activities, where all the volunteers take part and are actively involved with their creativity and ideas. They consist in:
Christmas Chorus in November
-December,literature events (the volunteers read poems inmother tongue),international evenings, dissemination event regarding Europe (Europe day, holocaust day, female day, etc...)
