Resumo: The Convent Center of Language and Art’ is a Cultural Association based in Amantea, in Calabria, Italy. The Linguist and English Professor Ms. Diana Bruni founded it 17 years ago, in 2002. Since then, the activities of the association have never stopped.
Convent Center focuses on the promotion of European languages and Arts through the use of non-formal methodologies. Learning and improving foreign languages is facilitated by the usage of Arts, games, visual supports. All activities are tailored to the different ages of the learners.
Convent Centre has strengthened its educational structure year by year by adapting its work to the various requests from the territory in which it operates and to the latest technological innovations, such as e-learning platforms. We are an official Cambridge Exam Preparation Centre N. 119805 and Exam Centre for Trinity College London N. 9547. The association has always promoted high quality educational courses, together with study trips in the most sought-after destinations, such as Great Britain and USA, Malta and Spain.
Convent Center is an active promoter of European Projects, in particular ERASMUS+ and European Solidarity Corps. We hold a Quality Label as Hosting and Supporting Organization and we are experienced in hosting projects and sending students abroad. We do also run projects for public schools through PON, POR and Alternanza Scuola - Lavoro confirming our remarkable commitment to young people, youth workers, young adults, students, pupils, teachers and all categories involved in Education.
We want to empower people to become Citizens of the World by supporting them in strengthening their linguistic knowledge, soft skills and competences.

Tarefas: The project aims to bring together ideas, visions and experiences of youngsters who want to help us for building a more tolerant and inclusive society in Amantea local community...
We want to encourage intergenerational Dialogue and improve its quality by strengthering Digital Leteracy, Active Citizenship, Social Inclusion, Multilingualism.
We wish to create in Amantea a rich intercultural environment where cultural and linguistic differences are values instead of obstacles.

volunteers will deal with:
- Italian language course with OLS ;
- Creating linguistic workshops, small events, linguistic tandems for kids, youngsters and adults;
- social media and reporting
- personal projects and promotion of ESC and Erasmus+
