Resumo: The hosting organization is a living community for ordinary families and people with disabilities living in a close and rewarding neighbourhood , located in the small village.
The facilities at the project consist of 2 houses with 19 residents. The residents have different psychological and mental conditions and some of them are also physically impaired, although all of them can walk. Most of them are aged between 18-30 years.
Perfil: Age: 18-30
Tarefas: In the village there are different workshops where both volunteers and residents will work: bakery, biodynamic market garden, biodynamic farm, weave shed, kitchen and laundry room. The products produced in the workshops are consumed by the community but also sold in the small community shop at the centre.
It’s a great opportunity to learn how to connect with people who experience life differently, in a slow-paced and quiet environment. The volunteer will learn how to be caring and responsible, as well as to live closer to nature.
The volunteers will be living in an independent flat within the community. If there are not enough rooms for the volunteers, one of them will be located in a room in one of the houses of the residents. This person will probably be one of the more experienced volunteers
