Resumo: Our field of action is that of non-formal education. The coordinating organization runs 3 ateliers that offer workshops to young people who meet one of the following criteria: school dropouts, unemployed, long term unemployed. They mainly consist in handcraft activities during which the participants up-cycle materials: furniture, wood and all other types of material that can be re-affected and re-used in some way. The goods that are produced are sold online and in a shop. This shop is currently not very attractive and not well located. It urgently needs some upgrading and refurbishing.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
The participants must have a basic level of English and should be autonomous enough to live on their own for most of the time. The purpose of the activity is that all volunteers will complete the whole project, therefore it is important that the participants have a strong motivation and interest in the project. Candidates/participants should be motivated to invest their time, knowledge and competences in the foreseen project. In short, the requested competences/skills : creativity, physical fitness, manual skills, autonomy and basic English skills.

Tarefas: Tasks of the volunteer :
- planning the work
- moving furniture
- cleaning the space and preparing for renovation
- collecting material to be up-cycled
- repairing, preparing and painting the walls
- renovating the floor with up-cycled wood
- constructing shelves and painting them
- documenting the process and publishing the progress on social media
