Resumo: The primary objective of the hosting organization is to promote integration in the workplace of people with social and / or physical disabilities, sensory and mental illnesses, as well as people at risk of social exclusion. We work mainly in the Berguedá rural county in the province of Barcelona.

The hosting organization consider that inclusion through work is the most solid tool to achieve good results in the social inclusion. Work is a powerful mean to promote rehabilitation, re-education and integration of people at risk of exclusion. Currently our volunteering team is mainly composed by people with mental health issues, they are independent and reach the working place by their own, autonomously sticking to the the schedule of the organization, some of them drive our van to carry out their volunteering.
To overcome personal and skill related obstacles we provide special support and training in the workplace.
The training is focused on: apprentice training , both technical and management of work rhythm, organization of work, professional relationships and professional work.
Our activity promote the recovery of habits of personal and social care that allow daily coexistence and work, through daily work and personal relationships in the workplace.

Our main activities are: Patum workshop, recollection and recycling of books, cloths, furniture and other objects, old furniture restoration, Art expositions of paintings made by our users.

Perfil: We are looking for a proactive and curious person between 18 and 30 years old, interested in learning, sharing and personal growth. It is essential that he/she likes working in group. It will be appreciate to be creative and interested in new technologies, as well as to fell confortable in a quiet place and near the nature.

Tarefas: Our main aim is working in social inclusion with people affected by mental issues, functional diversity or risk of social exclusion. In order to help them we organize different activities: arts and crafts, sewing, serigraphy, culture, graphic design… Apart of these we do awareness campaigns about the importance of re-using materials and against mental health stigma. People who attend our institution are autonomous and, at this moment, they are recovering. They come to our centre to recover routines, to acquire habits, to improve, to learn how to work in teams and overall to be empowered. They don’t need caregivers, they need to be accompanied and exchange experiences.
