Resumo: The hosting organization belongs to the network of civic centers of the City Hall. It is a meeting space in which municipal programs of sociocultural action converge together with those proposed by neighbors, associations, etc ... In its facilities we can find an office area, press and magazines room, games space, reading space, new technologies room and different multiple tasks room.

We develop activities for children, (games, reading animation, crafts, languages, workshops ...) and youth, (chess, table tennis, languages, dance, sports ... also two pre-teenagers and young groups who have an annual project), and adults (photography, painting, ballroom dancing, languages, yoga, dance and traditional dances ...), in addition to other open activities such as exhibitions, video, etc., or the ones perform during local and national holidays, (magosto- pumpkins feast-, Christmas, Carnival, San Juan ...).

We believe that the cultural baggage, the different perspectives and ways of working that a young European person could contribute would be really interesting for the different target groups; seniors, adults, youth and children; and it could greatly enrich the work of the socio-cultural center. For all these reasons, we believe it would be interesting to offer volunteers the possibility of participating in the projects and activities of the center, so that after knowing the general functioning, they will gradually determine which proposals are best suited to their abilities and tastes, and over time can contribute to projects that are of their liking and adapt to their preferences, taking into account the needs of the center.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
We are looking for young volunteers with interest and motivation in cultural activities and leasure time with children and teenagers. We are looking for youngsters with capabilities of comunication, social skills, enthusiasts, creatives, with initiative and values and ideals about solidarity and europena identity. We value highly the desire and the motivation to participate in this experience.

Tarefas: The main objective is to promote knowledge and relationship with other different cultures among young Europeans who live within the same framework of coexistence, Europe. It seeks to reflect on the common links and the differences between them and how enriching it is to have other points of view.
The project also seeks an active role of volunteers in information about the European Solidarity Corps and about Europe. Finally, we find it very enriching to know different ways of working from socio-cultural animation and education through leisure and free time activities in the different countries of the European Union. The volunteer will cooperate in the activities, events and campaigns of the Centro Sociocultural in the frame of leisure time activities for children, teenagers and adults.
