Resumo: The cultural and leisure time association represents an up-to date information point dealing with the different social services as well as a meeting point for the citizens of the urbanization, where they can meet with their neighbours, read the daily press and take part in the planned activities. On the instalations they offer a playing room, a social room, a reading room, a theater, a library, a ciber room and various multi-use rooms.
In the association we plan activities for children (playing room, handicraft, languages, painting, theater, etc.), teenagers (youth club, hip-hop, brake dance, karate, judo, languages, theater, etc.) and adults (gymnastics, brain jogging, handicraft, cookery, film club, book club, etc.). In addition to that, we offer other, open activities (gatherings, parties, etc.), which can also be themed acording to popular holidays (Magosto, Christmas, Carnival…)

Perfil: Age: 18-30
We are looking for young volunteers with interest and motivation in cultural activities and leasure time with children and teenagers. We are looking for youngsters with capabilities of comunication, social skills, enthusiasts, creatives, with initiative and values and ideals about solidarity and europena identity. We value highly the desire and the motivation to participate in this experience

Tarefas: The main objective is to promote knowledge and relationship with other different cultures among young Europeans who live within the same framework of coexistence, Europe. It seeks to reflect on the common links and the differences between them and how enriching it is to have other points of view. The project also seeks an active role of volunteers in information about the European Solidarity Corps and about Europe. Finally, we find it very enriching to know different ways of working from socio-cultural animation and education through leisure and free time activities in the different countries of the European Union. The volunteers will cooperate in the activities, events and campaigns of the Asociación Recreativa Cultural in the frame of leisure time activities for children, teenagers, adults and elderly
