Resumo: Project takes place in a youth centre active in a small village in south Estonia called Uulu. Tasks of the volunteer will be to organise different activities for and with youth visiting the centre

Perfil: Volunteer should have good communication skills, s/he should want to work with young people and to be ready to work in a small community.

Tarefas: We generally work with young people, because there are many hobby courses in our house. But we also work with other target groups (elderly people, grown ups etc.)
Hobby courses in The Culture and Sport Centre of Uulu (course, time and the number of participants):
" Hand-craft class (for children) - every Wednesday (~15 children)
" Dancing course (for children from age 4 up to 7) - every Tuesday (~20 children)
" Dancing course (for children who are older than 7) - every Wednesday (~10 children)
" Cooking class (for children who are older than 9) - twice a month (~15 children)
" Aerobics (mostly for grown ups) - every Tuesday and Thursday (~20 people)
" Belly dance - every Monday and Wednesday (~10 people)
" Folk dancing "Ülejala" (for grown ups) - every Monday and Wednesday (~15 people)
" Sport`s course (for children) - every Tuesday and Thursday (~10 children)
" Skiing training for beginners - every Tuesday and Thursday (~10 children)
" Skiing training for advanced students - every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday (~10 children)

Formação: Our organisation would like to give the youngsters from our parish a chance to learn about other cultures. Most of our young people have limited financial resources so this kind of work abroad is the only chance to integrate with European young people. We are also motivated because we hope that after the EVS when the youngsters come back they will fortify the culture and sport centre, youth work, other youngsters and people from the Tahkuranna parish.
