Resumo: The hosting organization is a subsidiary in the VSD group of child and youth welfare service. In the departments of ambulant care, pedagogical individual care at schools, school social work as well as the department of youth care/youth work with own youth and child centers are settled. In the daily group up to eight children and adolescents are cared for and supported at the age of 6 years and over. Criteria are (et al.): delay of child development, behavioral and emotional problems. The daily group often is the most suitable offer for support to avoid accomodation in a children's home if the educational need can no longer be covered by outpatient therapy. Conceptually, the daily group is located between social group work and home education. The pedagogic care time begins with the end of school from at the earliest 11.30 am and ends at six pm. The main focuses are: support in learning performance (accompaniment of school support), social learning in and by the group.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
The participants should socially engaged and be open to new experiences. There should be a willingness to engage with disadvantaged children. Ideally, the volunteers should not be too unsettled in the event of a crisis. Basically, it is expected that the training and learning opportunities of the hosting organisation to deal with crises will be taken openly and the desire to maintain contact with the child will remain.
