Resumo: The hosting organization is a youth residence, under administration of the Flemish government (General Service for Youth Tourism).
The aim of the organization is to create an inspiring environment for artistic and creative activities for and by young people (particularly youth work and schools). We offer high-quality infrastructure in a green environment. The excellent facilities and services ensure a pleasant stay including catering and lodging accommodation. Through its international art educational department, the organization also creates an artistic environment to stimulate and inspire groups staying here. Organising expositions, masterclasses, artistic formations, artistic projects and international Youth exchanges are part of the daily work of our educational staff.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
Someone with an educational background with a passion for nature and youth work and someone who wants to share his experience in the field of communication and media. You will also work together on larger projects.

Tarefas: Learning opportunities for the volunteer:
• Getting to know the different aspects (organization, impact…) of youth work in Belgium 
- getting to know the different aspects, partners and activities of artistic youth work in Belgium
- gaining experience in working for an international youth centre
- gaining experience in working in a team
- gaining experience in your specific field of expertise
- getting to know yourself and increasing self-confidence
- expanding your network with connections all over Europe
- getting more respect for (inter)cultural diversity
Role of the volunteer at the EDUCATIONAL SERVICE :
• Developing environmental activities like for example workshops, educational packages, guided tours et cetera.
• Develop workshops about human rights education- using the nature or art as a tool

Role of the volunteer at the COMMUNICATION TEAM
• documentation of the activities on the domain via different media (interviews, film, photo…)
• providing new ideas and creative input

both volunteers :
Supporting the daily activities of the different services inthe organization and help prepare an international youth exchange in the summer of 2021
