Resumo: Youth Center is a non-profit operating since 2011. The main aims of Youth Center of Epirus are to improve general environment, promote coexistence and to develop the region. Therefore, YCE organizes and implements local, regional and international level events and projects created by and for young people. Our activities are related to topics of non-formal education, voluntarism, environment problems, LGBTQ issues, social inclusion, employment of young people, human rights, refugee integration and policies, health and well-being, EU awareness, cultural awareness and others.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
Fluent in spoken English, autonomous and very responsible, ready to propose ideas, previous experience in any of the activity fields is an asset.

Tarefas: The projects' long term aims:
*To support and promote asylum seeker integration in our region and in Europe;
*To promote ethnic diversity, solidarity, tolerance for asylum seekers, equality, cultural understanding and solidarity
in Europe;
*to prevent and eliminate hate crimes and discrimination towards marginalized asylum seekers in Europe;
*To promote intercultural cooperation, to build experiences and capacities of all involved partner organisations;
*To increase the future employ-ability possibilities for young people (of the participants of the project and possibly
the asylum seeker youth who will benefit from the project's activities).

The projects' objectives are:
*To support and improve the daily activities of our organisation for asylum seeker children and unaccompanied youth;
*To increase non-formal education opportunities for asylum seeker children and youth in Epirus region;
*To promote a fair and positive images of asylum seekers in Epirus and on a wider level;
*To support the capacity of our organisation, to improve the creativity and intercultural dimension within our organization which would impact positively our daily work in the community;
*To promote the voluntarism activities of our organisation to an increased amount of young people from our local community in order to raise awareness about asylum seekers and promote participation and solidarity among the local people.

Horário: Non-formal education activities with asylum seeker teenagers
- approx. 8 hours, preparation and planning of nonformal education activities
– approx. 6 hours, online content creation (videography, writing, photography projects
related to asylum seeker or local cultural heritage themes)
– approx. 10 hours, reporting
– approx. 2 hours, reflection
– approx. 2 hours, online language course
– approx. 2 hours, additional mentoring meetings when necessary.
