Resumo: The social center is a non-profit association intended to the inhabitants of the town and surroundings. Their target audience is multiple (baby, children, teenagers, adults, senior).

Perfil: Age: 18-30
Youngsters who face economic, social or cultural obstacles will be favoured in the volunteer selection process. We expect the volunteer to share his/her knowledge and enthusiasm for intercultural dialogue and learning. The association would like the volunteer to have an interest in Urban Cultures and basic knowledges in French, be flexible and be able to adapt in every specific situation and every type of audience.

Tarefas: -Organization of urban workshops
-Co-animation of workshops with the stakeholders
-Communication with families, youth, stakeholders
-Organisation of 2-4 day courses during school holidays Support the organization of the hip hop festival:
- Collaboration with partners
- Promotion and communication about the festival;
- researches of stakeholders
- artist management;

Horário: The working time of the volunteer will be between 30 and 35 hours per week. Working time will be from Tuesday to Saturday: some activites will be during the evenings. His/her holiday’s projects will have to be organized according to his tutor at least two weeks before.

Condições: His/her meals will be provided either in the social center or with extra money that the House of Europe will give him/her every month. The volunteer will be hosted in a shared flat with other European volunteers in the centre of Nîmes or in a student residence. The volunteer will receive every month 184€ for pocket money.
