Resumo: The hosting organization - a humanist union that sets the will to learn first, plays an important role in today's Sweden. We are driven by creating a higher meaning, by developing people's interests into new knowledge - throughout our lives. With us it is obvious that you respect others as much as they will respect you. In all our activities, we create lifelong learning based on people's different needs.
Folk formation has a long tradition in Sweden. Already in the 19th century people met to study together, participate in lectures and participate in cultural activities. The motivation to learn more was to influence their own living conditions, but also to influence and change conditions in society. Today's education is based on the same driving force; That knowledgeable and committed citizens of society are one of the fundamental building blocks of democracy.
