Resumo: The hosting organization is a network of residential child and youth services in a mountain range with more than 30 years of experience. We offer six small groups (4 children from six years on) of coeducational and intensive pedagogical approach.
The scenic location also allows us to offer a wide range of leisure time activities for children and young people.
The main goal of residential care and treatment in the intensive pedagogical care facilities is to provide the possibility of safe bonding experiences correcting earlier negative experiences. Within standard services pedagogical aims and diagnosis are synchronized and continuously assessed and adjusted. The same applies to psychiatric diagnosis.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
The participants should socially engaged and be open to new experiences. There should be a willingness to engage with disadvantaged children. Ideally, the volunteers should not be too unsettled in the event of a crisis. Basically, it is expected that the training and learning opportunities of the hosting organisation to deal with crises will be taken openly and the desire to maintain contact with the child will remain.
Drive license.

Tarefas: Provided that the volunteers are willing, they will also teach the children aspects of their own culture, thereby encouraging them to be open to other cultures and ethnic groups. In this way, they bring a welcome change to everyday life in the group and make a contribution to promoting tolerance. (Possible) tasks: Practicing practical life activities with the children/adolescents, doing homework, spending leisure time, preparing meals, keeping the living and working environment in order..

Condições: Meals are generally provided on site during working hours. On days off and holidays etc. a food allowance shall be paid each day. Furnished accommodation is provided. There are currently five rooms in a shared apartment on the site of castle Wittlage and a single room at another location. Volunteers shall be given a bus ticket.
