Resumo: The hosting organization was founded in 2017 with the mission to bring outdoor education to Brussels and allow as much children as possible to discover nature and learning in nature, by using innovative and child-centred pedagogy. Our association is deeply involved in environmental education and in spreading our values.

Our values are the following:

Perfil: Age: 18-30
For this activity, we are looking for a warm, calm and positive person with love for children, open to different pedagogy, willing to learn about democratic schools and nature education and willing to share her/his competences, passions with our children.Essential criteria are: motivation, interested in our organization missions, openness to learn, flexibility. Good criteria to have: speaking French or Dutch.

Tarefas: We look for one volunteer for this position. The volunteer will assist our pedagogical team in the day to day life of our school, taking care of the health, safety and wellbeing of each child, being a mentor in the learning process of the children and assist or organise activities according to the volunteer's passions.
The activities in which the volunteer teaching assistant will be involved are the following:
1. Environmental education, outdoor learning and forest school approach
2. Democratic Governance of the school: learn and practice the tools of our democratic management, she/he will be part of the decision making organs, in particular in the School Council, the School Meetings, and the Justice Committees.
3. Cooperation with local community
4. Sharing passions/talents/interests with the children and observe children to follow their passions and make their talents emerging.
