Resumo: De Amicitia is a non-governmental and non-profit association without any political linkage, registered in the National Register of Associations since 1998 and working for the environment and culture committed to rural development.De Amicitia makes up a team of volunteers who support the association with its capabilities and motivations doing activities to support local initiatives primarily through international volunteer camps, training seminars, international exchanges and local activities, allowing to get maximum social, mediatic and educational performance for our work claim. We also support the municipalities and local administrations in where we find ourselves in activities and services that otherwise could not be performed.
Our work is structured in three areas: volunteering, local development and training.- Volunteering Area: we perform concrete and local voluntary actions especially through youth exchanges inside and outside Spain, international work camps, European Voluntary Service, where there may be some component of denunciation and restoration.- Local Area Development: We advise and support initiatives of municipalities, NGOs and individuals for local development, and environmental protection.- Area Formation: In De Amicitia, we prepare courses and seminars to inform young people and activists on matter of volunteering as well as environmental workshops in English promoting education in value and the promotion of Eco-active citizenship.Mainly our activities are held in the mountainous are of Madrid, Sierra Norte, and also we have activities in different rural parts of Spain.
We have established networks with different organizations and associations in other parts of Spain and Europe, as Alliance and the International Civil Service and also local networks of young Spaniards.We have participated continuously in the Youth in Action Programme, now Erasmus +, sending at least 8 groups per year and organizing three to four events since 2006. We also work with other European funds such as Europe for Citizens and European Social Fund.
Perfil: Age: 18-30
Tarefas: Clara is a farm located in Los Olivares plot, nestled in an unrivalled location, it is a balcony at whose feet there is a forest of poplar trees of several hectares, next to which winds the Alberche River. In this wonderful landscape we have been cultivating, always under totally ecological practices, an interesting variety of vegetables as well as fruit trees. This year we plan to have hens to supply us with manure and eggs. Volunteers will be helping us with the classic tasks of maintaining the garden and caring for the farm animals and collaborating with the tasks of the farm mainly in the orchard and animals, also in any other activity such as cooking, cleaning the house, making bread.
