Resumo: In the office you will work together with the coordinators of the ESC as well as the directors of the organization.
The office is close to Nowy Kleparz and easily accessible by tram and bus. When you decide to participate as a
volunteer directly in the organization you should be ready for a lot of organizing and planning with many
different people from different countries.

Also, a lot of presentations are going to be held and prepared by you.
But that is not all. You can model your week in a really specific and individual way, meaning that you will have
the possibility to participate in a lot of extra projects such as the Parasol youth club or the English-conversation
club. Depending on what kinds of projects you add to your repertoire your week will vary from day today. In
the office itself you will support the coordinators by doing smaller tasks for them and help them to prepare
projects for the group and the organization.

Perfil: Age: 18 - 30
As a volunteer in the office you should be fairly communicative because it is essential for you to get in contact
with a lot of people (mentally and physically impaired ones as well as people without any impairments). The speaking in front of an (sometimes big) audience should not bother you and it is important that one, as one might have figured out by now, likes to organize. This brings a certain spontaneity within and patience and calmness because you will work a lot in groups with people from all over the world, which can be challenging sometimes. As you are usually the leader, a confident but also acknowledging attitude is really supportive, so
you can reach the goal together as a team.

Tarefas: Your activities depend on how you build your week but there are quite a few general tasks you will always have
to do. These tasks are the creation of flyers and other materials that inform about organizations and their
projects as well as advertise the free places they have so that potential participants become aware of
mentioned and hopefully are going to take part in it. Also, you will organize different meetings for the schools
and kindergartens in which you are going to do presentations (alone or together with other volunteers). If it is
with other volunteers you will be the one who is organizing the presentation and takes care that everybody is
prepared.

Besides that, you might have to translate or proofread texts, prepare materials for the volunteers,
and give them all the new and important information. One thing you have to do every week is to create a
newsletter for the others, which can contain basically anything as long as it is relating to your situation and the
service here. If you choose to join the English conversation club your tasks will be to prepare lessons of 45 min.
in which you are going to talk with the participants about a certain topic.

The youth club is more about working with children and teenagers who are threatened by social exclusion. You will play games, assist them
with their homework, or simply be there for them so they have a nice afternoon.

Condições: Pocket money
Volunteer will get pocket money every month - 120 euro (in Polish zlotys).
Money will be transferred every month to volunteers.

Food allowance
Volunteers will get money for food every month from coordinating institution (around ~300 PLN)
Volunteers have to do grocery shopping and cook for themselves, or eat out (more expensive option).

Accommodation
Volunteer will be accommodated in a room (in most cases shared with another volunteer the same
sex) in rented flat with access to kitchen and bathroom.
Volunteers will share a flat together, they usually have double rooms.
Flats are furnished and equipped with pillows, duvet covers, pillow cases and washing machine.
Internet connection /Wi-Fi is not provided, however it is possible to arrange it (prices vary from 15-
30 PLN/monthly per person).
