Resumo: The organization is a non-profit association. Its main roles are producing, spreading documents and information activities, in a regional level, for a youth. It is responsible for a network of 30 Information points in the region. It includes 3 axes of specialized information: Professional life; Leisure; Europe and International mobility: Europe Direct Information Centre. The organization is, therefore, approved since 2001 and by the European Commission as a Europe Direct Information Centre. It is the only official information relay of the European Union in the Region. It gives information to all the public on the EU, its mechanisms of operating, policies, programmes of action, current events… It is a service directly involved in all the matters concerning youth mobility (EURODESK). Every year, more than 6000 people are targeted by its actions, many of whom are young people.

Perfil: The volunteer must be interested in communication and youth information projects. The volunteer should be interested European mobility and in supporting other youngsters in their projects. Some basic level of French will be appreciated and will facilitate the integration of the volunteer
Age: 18-30

Tarefas: The volunteer will take part in different types of information activities:
1. Taking part in the implementation of events about Europe and European citizenship
2. Support of youngsters wishing to do an ESC with the EVS coordinator
3. Creating information documents (website pages, facebook updating, video, etc…
4. Participation in other events (Forum Jobs, Students forum,...)

Condições: The volunteer will live in a shared apartment fully furnished and will have his/her own bedroom. Bathroom, kitchen and living room will be shared. The volunteer will receive money for food, transport and pocket money.
