Resumo: The Association runs three day-care centers for children (age 8-13) from families with problems. These are places where children come after school to play, make homework and take part in socio-therapeutic activities.

Volunteers work with the professional staff of the Association, help with everyday activities, organize free-time activities for children and thematic workshops.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
A volunteer should be interested in the work with children. S/he should be an open person, willing to share with his/her culture. A volunteer should like to develop and improve his/her skills and abilities, be open for experiments, have some hobbies/interests and like to share with them when organizing some activities for children.

Tarefas: The main role of the volunteers is to assist the employees in work and to give support to the children in everyday activities of the Association.
You will help children with their homeworks (eg. on English lessons orother), run thematic workshops, depanding on your hobbies and interest, help in meal preparation and keeping the place clean after the workshops.
You will also help in planning organizing workshops and events for children and youth.
Moreover while working withprofessional psychologists and pedagogues you will have a possibility learn from their everyday work and to gain from their experience.
