Resumo: The hosting organization was founded in 2003 by a group of youngsters with a strong desire to discover new cultures and to work for tolerance and social integration in Europe and throughout the world. Until now, we have been developing all kinds of projects both at the local and international level.

Our main objective is fostering youth mobility and, through the means of it, promoting solidarity, tolerance, non formal and intercultural education.

In the organization, we offer consulting for youth and entities that want to gain knowledge in the area of international mobility, to get to know the existing opportunities for working, studying and volunteering abroad, as well as the programmes, scholarships and other means of financial assistance available. We currently offer our services from our headquarters, as well as in three youth information centers. Apart from this, we are conducting info sessions in secondary education institutions and other entities for those youngsters who wish to gain international experience.

We are actively working on different levels of Erasmus + programme, such as hosting and sending EVS volunteers, participating and organizing training courses and youth exchanges, and performing information campaigns on different topics for our youth.

As far as our activities go, we would like to highlight the language courses that our EVS volunteers organize. We believe that these courses empower our volunteers and make them realize that they play a crucial role in our organization. We also conduct creative workshops for youngsters that wish to learn from informal education, in a friendly environment, surrounded by people with the same interests. Culinary workshops in different languages, intercultural nights, movie nights are some of the other activities we perform on a local level.

Our target group is youth, defined as 14-35 years old, especially youth with fewer opportunities, be it economic or educational difficulties, social obstacles or cultural differences.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
We are looking for someone that:
– Has knowledge about the Erasmus+ program (has been involved in similar organisation as a volunteer or as a youth worker or has partcipated in some Youth Exchange, Training Course or other experiences abroad)
– Has some skills on facilitation, youth dynamization and non-formal education or is highly mpotivated to learn so
– Is creative and would like to develop new ideas in a team
– Has at least medium level of Spanish – Likes to speak in public
– Is motivated to support with the communication and project management
– Has a real interest in learning catalan

Tarefas: We are searching for 2 ESC volunteers to give support in our daily tasks promoting mobility and organising local and international activities. This means:
–Promote volunteering, ESC, Erasmus+ opportunities, preparing talks in highschools and youth centers, sharing your experience
–Provide information about international mobility in the Youth Information Center
–Support the office team on administrative tasks (searching and contacting partners, preparing documents, writing and answering mails)
–Support the sending of participants abroad: pre-departure preparation of volunteers and participants to youth exchanges
–Help on the creation and implementation of youth international projects
–Being involved in activities: local events, activities in the schools, activities related to interculturality
–Help on the daily dinamisation of social networks and website (graphic materials and posts)
–Support on communication during the projects with creation of audiovisual materials

Horário: 30h/week. Most of the weeks the weekend is free, except for specific ocasions when we participate in fairs, local activities or host international projects.

Condições: Accomodation: You’ll be living in a full equiped flat in the center, with other ESC volunteers
Pocket money and food money : 275€/month
Transports: some bikes are available for the use of our volunteers.
