Resumo: The organization is a youth association that is founded in Germany.
The main objectives of the organization are:
- Creating awareness among young people about their role in the society and the need for the youth to act in a positive way(preservation of environment, fighting prejudices and conflict resolution, sustainable development).
- Trainings to young people to change the world providing them different skills (such as Civil courage, Sustainable energy behavior etc)
- Bringing together young people from different cultures and nationalities (countries that have conflicts between like Macedonia and Greece, Bosnia and Serbia, Slovakia and Hungary, Turkey and Greece, Israel and Palestine etc)
- Encouraging the young people to develop their potential and creativity (self-employment, social entrepreneurship, handcraft etc).
- Increasing our network of partners and their capacity (providing a platform, connecting organizations and people, trainings for other organizations and sharing know-how

Perfil: You can apply, if you are a resident of an EU Country (not Germany), between 18-30 years old (on the day you start your ESC), motivated to develop presentational and communicational skills through learning-by-doing, can communicate in English (A2-B1) and German (A2).

Tarefas: Are you dreaming of being part of an NGO? For 12 months, you could join our team, network with organisations and become an ambassador for international youth projects in our city! We coordinate ESC volunteers, organise between 10-12 youth exchanges per year, and have as many local workshops as possible. We work to promote multi-cultural communication, democratic participation, inclusion, tolerance and European citizenship amongst other things, which is also reflected in our super international team. Your responsibilities include: Communicating with youth houses, schools and other youth work organisations in order to initiate partnerships; attending events organised by the organization’s existing partners in order to develop the relationships with said organisations further; organise presentations about Erasmus+ and ESC volunteering opportunities in said organisations, also for public events in the city or at University fairs - and more!

Condições: The coordinating organisation will be in charge of all logistical matter. You will be accommodated in a house with two other ESC volunteers. As an ESC volunteer, you will receive health insurance, monthly pocket money for food and other expenses (246€ + 150€). Travel costs will be reimbursed depending on the travel distance (normally between 180-360€).
