Resumo: The Association has been active since 2004 with the aim of promoting healthy lifestyles and intercultural dialogue through various aspects of Brazilian culture. In our work, emphasis is placed on the capoeira skill we use as a method by which
we encourage the development of the creative and social potential of children, young people and adults. Our focus is primarily on working with children and young people, and especially on working with those from vulnerable groups in society. Cross-sector cooperation is crucial in the implementation of all our programs and projects, and we cooperate with a number of primary and secondary schools, faculties, associations, institutions and Centers for Social Welfare.

Project will be held in Croatia. It will host four volunteers, one from Italy, one from Spain and we have two open spots for volunteer from any participating country. It will last 11 months, from September 3rd 2020. to August 3rd 2021. The organization is a receiving organisation and it is active in sport, social and cultural field and we have a lot of projects for youngsters. The overall aim of the project is to bring solidarity to our local community through active participation of international volunteers in it.

Perfil: our team is open to host anybody who has good motivation and is between 18 and 30 years old. We are determined to give all young people the same opportunity, regardless of their knowledge, skills, economic or any other status We want to give volunteer a chance to better understand their own self, to take initiative, to learn not to be afraid of risks, to become open minded and tolerant and to have a chance to acquire new skills.

Tarefas: During the service, volunteers will be involved in two groups of activities in which they will learn skills and competencies trough methods of non - formal education, peer to peer approach and intercultural learning. First group of activities is focused on the local community and second one is focused on personal and organizational development.

Condições: During the project volunteer will live in shared apartment with other volunteers (4 persons). Accommodation will have shared rooms (maximum 2 volunteers per bedroom), dining/living room, kitchen and bathroom. Volunteer will receive the money monthly. Every month they will have 150 Euros of the pocket money and 130 Euros for food. Accommodation and living bills are covered by the project. Budget for the travel (plane, bus) depends on the volunteer’s country. Regarding local transport, volunteers will have tickets for public transportation.
