Resumo: A fundamental part of the activities is youth information on issues and problems at the local level and also at European level, the latter thanks to the actions of the European Voluntary Service office. The hosting of volunteers is imminent motivation in its activities to provide continuity and strengthen the European dimension in which we participate for some time now. It is a fundamental motivation that our organization always has had, that of continued participation in European programs, as initiated in 2000 with the first reception of a voluntary and following actions (EVS, exchanges and future capital), similarly, was created the information office of EVS. The permanent hosting of volunteers is a good example of this kind of voluntary service for other young people, being able to share very enriching experiences for both parties.

Perfil: The volunteer who will have his/her project should be a person with iniciative and eager to work in the field of youth. Would be preferable but not essential that the volunteer has some relation to the world of youth associations and youth policy. We are looking for a perso who can interact easily with others, motivated and able to develop his/her own projects within the proposed field, because a wide space will be left for the voluntary to develop his/her own ideas.
The candidates must to have basic level of Spanish!

Tarefas: * Participation in meetings of different groups: health, people with less opportunities...
* Support the organization on internal training courses (preparation of documentation and materials).
* Support associations of Oviedo and its surroundings, getting to know their reality and support them in creating projects.
* Edit the weekly newsletter and update the website.
* Support in the EVS information office
* Spreading the information about EVS (Creation of advertising campaigns, lectures, meetings with associations, public service for young people in the office and at universities and institutes).
* Work within the campaign "Promotion of associations among youngsters" The tasks of the volunteer in this campaign would be focused on the creation of materials, dynamics of intervention, sessions, managing analysis of results of the whole program. Volunteer will get prior training.
* Support the campaign "Promotion of associations for youth in youth protection centers" with similar objectives and activities as the ones in secondary schools.
* Participation in workshops, courses, seminars, exchanges whith topics related to youth. Pleas take into account that it´s mostly office work with computer.

Horário: Work schedule is normally during morning working hours from Monday to Friday (in summer from 9 to 15 and in winter from 9 to 14 and two afternoons a week from 17 to 19:30), except special occasions (training courses, workshops, festivals...). In this case when the volunteer will work additional afternoons or on weekend, the exceeded hours will be compensated by free hours other days. The volunteer will never exceed 30 hours per week.

Condições: The association will ensure the management of AXA security to cover medical expenses of the volunteer.
To facilitate cultural adaptation of the volunteer to our country and region will organize an informative talk in which we will explain socially important behavior (punctuality in work hours, drug use in public places, smoking in the workplace and in certain locations, the consumption of alcohol in the street, sexual education, access to contraception and providing psychological help if necessary ....).
When noting a potential crisis situation we will transmit the problem to an appropriate professional with tutor coordination; especially we count on the service of a technician who is a lawyer and in case of personal crisis, we have the psychologist of the CMPA.
We want to point out that the work center of volunteer has a fully updated general plan of prevention of occupational risks.
At the moment we do not consider development of sending and hosting projects for youngsters who are less them 18 years old.

- Learning about associacionism through their own work, providing support if needed
- Possibility of practical knowledge of working within the CMU and various youth associations or other type of associations of Oviedo, Asturias, Spain.
- Participating in other social fields in order to get new complementary skills
