Resumo: The hosting organization is a non-governmental and non-profit association without any political linkage, registered in the National Register of Associations since 1998 and working for the environment and culture committed to rural development. The organization makes up a team of volunteers who support the association with its capabilities and motivations doing activities to support local initiatives primarily through international volunteer camps, training seminars, international exchanges and local activities, allowing to get maximum social, mediatic and educational performance for our work claim.
We also support the municipalities and local administrations in where we find ourselves in activities and services that otherwise could not be performed. Our work is structured in three areas: volunteering, local development and training.
- Volunteering Area: we perform concrete and local voluntary actions especially through youth exchanges inside and outside Spain, international work camps, European Voluntary Service, where there may be some component of denunciation and restoration.
- Local Area Development: We advise and support initiatives of municipalities, NGOs and individuals for local development, and environmental protection.
- Area Formation: In the organization, we prepare courses and seminars to inform young people and activists on matter of volunteering as well as environmental workshops in English promoting ​​education in value and the promotion of Eco-active citizenship.

Mainly our activities are held in the mountainous, and also we have activities in different rural parts of Spain. We have established networks with different organizations and associations in other parts of Spain and Europe, as Alliance and the International Civil Service and also local networks of young Spaniards.
We have participated continuously in the Youth in Action Programme, now Erasmus +, sending at least 8 groups per year and organizing three to four events since 2006. We also work with other European funds such as Europe for Citizens and European Social Fund.

Perfil: We are looking for volunteers (20+ y.o. to 30) to be a workcamp leader of an artistic workcamp.
who have good artistic skills, e.g. musicians, singers, dancers, circus performers, etc. If you have photo or video making skills, it will be a plus. You will lead a workcamp of teenagers and participate in the show. We would value if you could send us to info@deamicitia.org a video where we can evaluate your skills together with a CV including information of leading and volunteering activities in the past. Also, we need people who like and know how to deal with animals, as we have donkeys who are the part of the show, they tour together with the group.

Tarefas: First, the participants will prepare a street theatre with a clear environmental message, adding their own creative performances (dance, music, joggling, and singing). They will be sharing ideas and creating a really spectacular performance in each village they visit along the way. The message that the participants will be spreading will be based on environmentalism and creativity. When the performance is ready, we shall head off on our caravan with the donkeys! We will stop at each village and perform our shows and workshops which we have prepared. Then the local people can share their thoughts of environmentalism, donkeys and the workshops we are doing.

Condições: The accommodation will be in the small tents (places for 1 or 2) to share within participants. It is a big complex with a toilet area, hot water, washing machines, recreation areas, swimming pool and wi-fi connection in the cafeteria. During the shows, there will be basic accommodation provided in the towns. Food expenses are covered by the organization (5 euros per day). The volunteers are meant to cook their meals. This project will include one day only vegan food day for the promotion of an environmentally sustainable lifestyle
