Resumo: The project will take place in a public school for physically and mentally disabled children and adolescents, from age 3 to 18. The school provides individualised education, addressing the individual and specific needs of the pupils. Most of the +/-60 pupils are in wheelchairs and they have quite different cultural backgrounds. The spoken language in the school is "Lëtzebuergesch" and German and French are used in written communication.

Perfil: Candidates should: be aged between 18and 29, have ease in social contacts, have a sense of responsibility & be interested in social work. They should be motivated to work with disabled children and young people on a very basic level, which requires patience, initiative and creativity. Basic language skills in DE or FR are requested in order to allow communication with our target group. Creative skills in all fields are very welcomed. We try to give feedback to applicants within 7 days, but only if the profile meets the set criteria and if a targeted motivation and a complete CV are available.

Tarefas: The volunteers will assist the teachers, social pedagogues, nurses and therapists. He/she will have the role of assistant to support pupils who are not able to work on their own.
