Resumo: The hosting organization is a non-profit organization which develops environmental and heritage conservation projects. Since the 1960’s, we organize summer camps to involve people from foreign countries and give them the opportunity to meet, to be useful, to discover our region, to help the preservation of our heritage and the peace between communities! Since the 80’s we develop social inclusion works through the enhancement of the natural and built heritage, but we are still organizing volunteer camps!
Perfil: Motivated to live an intense experience in terms of activities, encounters and discoveries.
Curious to learn and to meet the others, to live a collective experience.
Active, open minded, dynamic, ready to animate the group of volunteers coming from different countries and capable to build connections within the group and with the locals.
Physical ability and interest in doing outside work.
Knowledge of basic English and French recommended.
Tarefas: Volunteers’ work consist in the organization, participation and promotion of different summer workcamps.
You will work in a team with other 4 French volunteers for the whole period, supported by your coordinator.
This project aims to raise awareness of natural and built heritage, which also vehicles social connections and to promote interculturality.
This project is based on a strong moment: the host of three teams of European volunteers during the summer period. Through the workcamps, you will make heritage more accessible to young people and to the population, in order to develop an interest to its conservation and to create connections between the cultural diversities of the European communities.
