Resumo: In the cafe we work on building a community. With the Foundation we opened up the Cafe in 2015. This is a cheerful, non-alcoholic mission cafe aiming the youngsters. We organise programs that interests and invites our target group in our community place .

We organise concerts, literary evenings, round-table discussions that offer good opportunity to get to know and understand each other. The aim of our mission is to reach those youngsters and their friends and family members, who are at risk of addiction. We would like to decrease the additional harm in their environment organising interesting and creative programs where alcohol and drugs are not available and all the people feel valued.

Our aim is also to reach and integrate misfit youngsters who do not use the social and health services that are available. We try to work with them a very creative way with our staff that is consists of service professionals and recovering addicts.

Aims of the cafe:
- One important mission is to promote the trendiness of sobriety.
- Social inclusion of disadvantaged groups
- We also want to reach out to high school students to organise for them film clubs and round table discussions
- We have a regular program where we invite actors, artists, writers, members of public, who had problems with drugs or alcohol.
- It is also important that we offer space for young artists to have an exhibition.
- Cafe is also supported by the Reformed Church and wants to be an open church where everybody is welcomed.
- It is also important for us to have a good team: ensure all team members understanding our goals. We also have staff members who started to work with ADNA after finishing their therapy. This is also an act and symbol toward young people who had such difficulties.
- To show general hospitality toward each guest and show it is possible to run a Café, selling no alcohol, where we young people have a space to develop, to talk about problems and get advices for their everyday life’s.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: The volunteer will have the opportunity to help in the following items:
- to set up and decorate the café and the small room: here will be the regular film clubs for high school students dealing with topics such as addiction (internet, co-dependency etc.) The volunteer will be asked to set up the room and help with the technical support.
- help to organize events and music events and exhibitions, literature sessions, discussion evenings, lectures: to communicate with partners, to welcome guests and set up the room for the events.
- to support team in artistic events, to prepare the room, to make room decoration: of course,
volunteers don’t necessarily have to be artistic to volunteer in the arts – they can help behind the scenes.
- to help to network with existing partners: different church groups, cultural associations, drug
rehabilitation centre etc: to communicate with partners and youth groups, welcome guest.
- help to set up the Craft events: to help to get the materials for the different craft session.
- to organise a language club.

Horário: As an ESC rule, the working hours for volunteers max. 35 hours per week. Language training is included in the working hours for the first 6 months. You are entitled to 22 days of holidays of your voluntary service. Volunteers will work at the different placements usually from Monday till Friday.

Condições: Travel costs:
Regarding the ESC rules, we will reimburse your travel costs to Hungary up to 275 Euros, for both ways. Please also keep your original tickets or boarding passes for reimbursement purposes. You are allowed to by your thicket only after the 1st of July.

Pocket money and food:
The pocket money is 5 Euro/day in Hungary, you will receive this sum in Hungarian Forint. We are going to open a Hungarian bank account for each of you after your arrival and the transfer will be made your account by the beginning of every month.
Next to the pocket money, we will also provide food money, altogether your stipend will be 70.000,- HUF/month.
Your placement will also provide lunch during working days.

Housing:
There will be a rented flat provided to all international volunteers. Please note that we cannot offer a single room for you. We ask you to share the room with another volunteer.
We also provide Wi-Fi internet for the volunteers at their houses. I will share later your actual living address.
