Resumo: The hosting organization is a Non Governmental, Non Profit Organization based in Cyprus, established on March 2014, managed by a team of passioned youth workers and acts at national and European level. Among the main aims of the organization is contribution to the positive social changes in the society by promoting effective communication, inter-cultural and intergenerational dialogue, facilitating understanding among people and establishment of harmonic co-existence.
The hosting organization has been established to support young people mainly from Nicosia but open to all young people allover of Cyprus within the framework of non formal education. ***Together with European Volunteers we are creating a platform for young people to help them to reach their goals .As organization, we are working with and for the youth. We encourage their involvement by facilitating innovative free time activities, stimulating their creativity, developing different skills and sharing information.
We support youngsters to use and develop their capacities, and to actively participate in the construction of a united Europe to create one European platform for informal cooperation. The mission of organization is to develop non-formal education, entrepreneurship, creativity, environmental consciousness, foster democracy, human rights, to develop solidarity and tolerance among young.
An important priority for the organization is to give access to all people, including young people with fewer opportunities and fight against discriminations. The organization has a big network of partners in Cyprus and in Europe,it' is a full member of Cyprus Youth Council since October 2015. Additionally is a member of “ Shokkin Group International” , a network of youth organizations in Europe and Caucasus working towards giving young people a bigger role in the society.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: The volunteers will be working in organization and assist on different tasks that the organisation has to carry out such as the implementation of our Erasmus+ projects, but also in the daily activities of the organisation. They will design and implement upcycling workshops in schools and communities.
They will be interacting with the local volunteers and members in our organisation on a daily basis. They will have the opportunity to bring in their ideas. In cooperation with communities, we will manage and organise depends on the needs of each community, cleaning campaigns, tree plantings, working in parks aiming to be more friendly and suitable for the kids and youngsters, visit elders places and spend creative time with the older people there, support during the local/traditional festivals the communities.
