Resumo: The hosting organization is a non-profit cultural association for the social promotion. It works in the field of intercultural education, non-formal education, vocational training, promotion of active citizenship, promoting projects both at local and international level.

Its main objective is to increase and improve the level of contact and interaction amongst different cultures. It promotes projects mainly within the frame of European Programmes – such as Erasmus+ and others – with the following principal aims: promoting intercultural learning dynamics; preventing and combating racism and prejudices; to offer young people the opportunity to join mobility programmes in the vocational and social-cultural sphere, to promote comparisons between different cultures and systems; to promote opportunities for meetings amongst different cultures and to encourage greater knowledge of foreign; to promote the active participation of the youth in society

Perfil: Volunteers with different backgrounds such as age, gender, previous experience, study path, and so on will be welcome. And there will be no discrimination against gender, religion, political or sexual orientation. However, the knowledge of Italian language will be appreciated.
The choice of volunteers will be made on the basis of their motivation, interest in the scope of intervention of the host organization and the willingness to play an active role in their project. In this way it is granted that there will be a positive result both for the volunteer, and for the beneficiaries of the project, as well as for the host organization. We expect that the volunteer is motivated to join us for 6 months supporting our daily office work as well as be available in dealing with local events sometimes during evenings and weekends as well. Experience and skills in the communication and graphic field is a plus.
Age: 18-30

Tarefas: The volunteer will support the team on the implementation of these projects as well as the local activities, such as our Free Market, trainings, informative events, festivals and cultural activities. The volunteer will also support us in developing informative and graphic communication material for our activities and events, and will be involved in the promotion of ESC to local young people in schools and other local realities.

Horário: The working time is 5 days a week, maximum 35 hours a week. The volunteer will have 2 days off a week, normally during the weekend, depending on the activities the volunteers will be involved in.

Condições: The volunteer will live in a shared flat with other international volunteers or local/Italian people, will live in a single or double room upon availability and have the use of a kitchen, bathroom and of the common spaces of the house (wi-fi is not always guaranteed). He/She will monthly receive some money to buy food and the pocket money. He/She will have a bus card to move around in the city.
