Resumo: The Rietavas Open Youth Center a non-political, nonprofit youth cultural association established in 2011 and based in Lithuania. It is specialized in youth work and operates in fields of non-formal education intercultural learning, it is a place where young people always find space for their ideas, dreams, free-time activities.

The ultimate goal is to help young people integrate into society in all its spheres to achieve their permanent socio-economic independence. Center is working on the following activities: developing and implementing nonformal education of young people, organizing workshops, lectures, events, camps, indoor and outdoor activities, provide information and advisory service to help young people in important choices.

Our team: 3 youth workers. Target group we generally work with – all young people (in the age of 14 -29) also young families. the Youth Center has been active in the field of supporting and hosting a voluntary activity project for over 7 years. Experience gained through volunteers is priceless in our community and helps our center and team to grow.

Perfil: - The volunteer is not required to have special experience and skills in working with young people, but he or she should believe in and enjoy working with and for young people, because this is the major type of person they will be working for and with.
- Willing to get involved in communicating with young people.
- Patient, responsible, open-minded
- Interested and motivated in working with young people.
- Have a strong decision and motivation to participate in project.
- Interested in youth issues.
- Willing to learn and actively participate in the service
- Willing to participate in the social and community life.
- Would like to help to create and to implement his/her initiatives, activities for youth.
- Willing to share his/her experience and culture.
- Interested in different cultures and in intercultural learning.
- Age: 18-30

Tarefas: Youth leisure time, youth policy, youth self-expression, healthy lifestyle, active ageing, creativity, culture, communication with/informing the youngsters are the main topics of the project. So activities for volunteers will be organized according these topics. The main activities for the volunteer will be:
- To run his/her ideas and initiatives (there will be opportunities, created for self-realization, e.g. teaching their native language, organizing arts/sports events for local youngsters).
-Organize and support the promotion of youth center activities (newsletters, blog, leaflets and anotherkind of advertisement).
- To help other youth workers organize/carry out activities (tournaments, events, celebrations and etc.), using their abilities and personal characteristics.
- To help the youth center with the promotion of Europian solidarity corps program, local and international volunteering through workshops, presentations in highschools, other youth centers
- Write blog articles by telling his/her own stories, activities.
- Dissemination of project's activities by uploading videos/stories on youth center website, facebook page organization's website, Facebook group
- However, the daily activities will be organized together withvolunteer at the time of arrival.
