Resumo: The host organization is a vocational institution providing five upper and post-secondary programmes in art and design: – Graphic Designer/Desktop Publisher – Decoration Designer, Stylist– Digital 3D Designer – Illustrator – Artist-Designer (1-year post-secondary programme for professional further training).
The organization has been operating under various names and on different educational levels since 1951. In order to provide strong artistic competencies, the organization studies are based on developing classical fine art skills along with technical knowledge and modern technologies.
The organization study programmes provide graduates with competencies allowing to act as independent artists and designers or work in the art and design industry. The organization qualifications open doors both to the labour market and to higher education. With 220 students and 50 employees, the organization is small and flexible, valuing personal approach.
The organization community is multicultural, including Estonian students with different cultural and linguistic background. The organization is also hosting YFU students, international trainees and other international students throughout school-year.
Perfil: You should to apply if you want to engage a local minority group that doesn’t participate actively in the city’s cultural life and work on creating new possibilities for them. You should be thrilled to work with different people, and who is empathic and creative. It would be best if you were interested in broader issues related to art and culture. Our project will require you to collaborate closely with an art school, Nature House and the entire team of the European Capital of Culture 2024 foundation. You and other volunteers will brainstorm joint activities and carry them out.

Tarefas: If you’re interested in cultural management, different communities and meaningfully engaging them, and you’ve thought about how culture and the arts can deal with issues of the environment, mental health and other vital topics, then you are invited to join to our team as a volunteer.
You will be working with one of a local minority or social group, learning about their preferences and cultural needs. Based on the fieldwork you will prepare a cultural event and promote and execute it together with members of the community.
