Resumo: Esto é um projeto social na Irlanda / Dublin. Em fevereiro ele vai começar. Você está trabalhando para um ano no local da um cuidado de jovens e organização da juventude serviços que fornece uma série de atividades para os jovens (10-21 anos).

Tarefas: There are 7 work programmes:
1. Street Outreach Youth Work
2. Youth Groups & Clubs
3. Developmental Arts
4. Information & Communication
5. Training, Development & Volunteer Support
6. Advocacy
7. Youth Facilities Management

Condições: We have three main aims in hosting an EVS volunteer:

We aim to promote volunteerism within the community by allowing the EVS volunteer to participate in clubs and groups with young people and serve as a role model for volunteerism. We hope that in time this will allow our young people to see the opportunities that are available through volunteering both locally and abroad.

We aim to provide ongoing volunteer support to community projects, clubs and groups. BRYR groups and clubs require ongoing, consistent volunteer support to assist with programme activities, events, trips, residential programmes and day to day tasks.

We aim to increase intercultural learning opportunities for young people within our organisation, our staff and volunteers and our EVS participants. We value the diversity that EVS volunteers bring to the organisation and enjoy the opportunity to share experiences, techniques and methods of youth work. We also value the opportunity for young people in Ballymun to interact with volunteers from other countries and cultures.

Formação: Every young person has the power within themselves to live a positive life; that the environment in which young people grow up shapes and moulds their development, and that those positive relationships with, and between young people, are at the heart of their wellbeing. We believe the more opportunities and outlooks we expose our young people to, the more rounded their experiences will be - taking part in this project is part of that desire to develop our organisation's environment and the personnel within for young people to learn from. We have been taking part in the EVS programme for the last 6 years and it has been of huge benefit to us, and the volunteers that have spent time with us. We are motivated to continue our involvement due to the new intercultural interactions and experiences it has granted our young people, and the unique setting and opportunities we can offer to volunteers interested in working with disadvantaged young people
