Resumo: The hosting organization is a Greek Non-Governmental Organisation committed to promote active participation in public life and the evolution of individuals as global citizens. Founded in 1987, the organization has used innovation to support and educate more than 10,000 local agents of change, in Greece and more than 40 other countries around the world.

The organization aims in bringing together people from different cultural, social and ethnic backgrounds, willing to live, learn and work together as a team, through their participation in volunteering and non formal education projects of environmental, cultural, and social interest. These projects promote intercultural exchanges and life long learning, offering people the opportunity to participate actively in the every day life of a hosting community.

More specifically the activities of the organisation include:
1. Coordination of volunteering activities in Greece and abroad that promote the protection of the environment, preservation of cultural heritage, development of local communities, provision of social services.

2. Development and implementation of educational and other activities such as Training Courses, international conferences, contact making seminars, training projects for unemployed graduates and practical training of young people to facilitate their access in the labor market, projects that promote sports, projects that promote non-formal learning and non-formal education. Moreover, ELIX coordinates and/or participates in publications, surveys and public awareness / dissemination campaigns, international and national campaigns for the promotion and the protection of human rights.

3. Implementation of European programs in cooperation with its partners at international level.

4. Organization and implementation of projects that assist and support disadvantaged and vulnerable people (adults and minors), such as people with disabilities, migrants, refugees, homeless people, prisoners and generally vulnerable groups at risk of social and economic exclusion. In cooperation with, or contracted by, the State, plans and implements humanitarian action programs in the wider social and health spheres, in a spirit of charity and solidarity, such as food, housing, interpretation, health care, psychosocial support, counseling, and others.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: 1. Placing international volunteers in the workcamps,
2. Communication with international partners,
3. Updating the workcamp catalogue with the projects running during the summer to be presented to the partners and volunteers,
4. Supporting and participation in the camp leaders training course,
5. Mentoring camp leaders before and after the camp,
6. Lead and/or participate in workcamps during the summer,
7. Supporting the organisation of local actions, their coordination and implementation,
8. Be encouraged and trained to develop and implement own ideas,
9. Support the daily activities of the office and participate in various actions of the organization outside the office.
10. Updating/ creation of tools related to volunteering and non-formal education projects implemented by the organization
