Resumo: We are a small (about 950 people) but very active and vibrant community which takes part in many religious, cultural and pro-social activities. Our life focuses around the Church and the mission of serving others through social assistance,
education (kindergarten, bilingual Polish-German language school, vocational school for the disabled, day-care centre for senior citizens), weekly meetings for children, youth, students and elderly parish members, and above all, every Sunday church services followed with religious activities and bible classes for the youngest.

We love music - we have two choirs, a youth ensemble, we also organize and host large musical events. Every year, we also co-organize the Protestant Culture Festival, which is attended by churches of various Christian denominations and members of the Jewish community.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL: volunteers work in a kindergarten where they support clients and employees in their daily work.This includes presenting their culture by organizing different events and showing traditions in support of international exchange and dialogue.

Close cooperation with local minority groups is expected to develop. All volunteers organize different meetings and events together. Those can be cultural evenings or culinary meetings with different generations which are intended to strengthen the tolerance and acceptance between different cultures and generations.

Secondly, volunteers are offered the opportunity to develop skills and interests by implementing new projects, ideas and innovations, supported by the parish. Work plays a pivotal role for the international team, expanding the volunteers’ horizons through working with different cultures and languages.
