Resumo: The kindergarten it is integrated in the business and living area there. Close to the kindergarten there is a forest, gardens, parks and playgrounds and other cultural institutions.
The building is on the same area of the kindergarten the complete ground is 7000 Square meters and the building was renovated in 2012. There are in total 76 children - 44 children aged 1-3 and 32 children aged 3-6 years. The groups are mixed in ages. The children visiting this kindergarten are aged 1 till getting to school.

The kindergarten is working with a open pedagocical concept this means that the children are free to decide themselves according to their interests which offers they are choosing for the mornings. So they can decide to go in the garden and play outsite or they can choose to go in the room where they can built or go in the theater room to dress up and play roles. Once every two weeks the kindergarten offers a forest day and once a week children can bake a cake for the whole kindergarten in the children kitchen. As well sport, music and artisic offers are made so that the children can develop holistic.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: The volunteer will work with 0-3 years old ones. The kindergarten works with an open pedagogical concept, so children are free to decide themselves to play in the garden or to build something or to dress up and play roles in the theater room. Every two weeks the kindergarten offers a forest day and once a week children can bake a cake for the whole kindergarten in the children kitchen, as well do sport and music, so they develop holistically. This kindergarten is also a language kindergarten. Children can get a special assistance while learning their mother tongue. There are also a café for parents and a family center made in cooperation with kindergarten.

Condições: Normally all the volunteers are living in shared flats, have their own room - but share kitchen and bathroom with 3 other volunteers. Food money will be paid out to you as well as money to buy the local transportation monthly ticket or you just buy a bike. Leipzig is a very nice city to ride a bike.
