Resumo: The youth training and community center is part of the project structure of the association for youth welfare services and social work in the department of non-formal education and international cooperation; it is located in a small town, about 60 km southeast of Berlin. There is 16 staff working in home service, technical and maintenance work as well as in the field of pedagogics. The center is open all through the year.

The target group for the youth training center are mainly young people, but there are also guest groups of every age being hosted .• The youth trraining centre offers a variety of opportunities of living and learning as Christians; it is open for different groups and their learning needs: Christian education for children and youth, conventions and projects of the protestant youth organisation, choirs and church boards, school classes, disabled people or senior citizens, participants in conferences, international meetings and exchanges, theatre groups or people looking for recreation are using the facilities and experiencing interculturality.

There are German and international volunteers working in the youth training centre.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: Guest service:
welcoming and accompanying the guests;
be the contact person for the guests;
information about accommodation, program offers and excursion destination;

Working in the kiosk and service point:
selling drinks and snacks;
general office activities;
lending specific service devices ;

Use of technique, buildings and surroundings;
general care, maintaining inside and outside equipment;
participate in the developing play and leisure equipment;
general helping in the kitchen and dining-room;

Work in Workshops and Educational events:
general assistance (registration, TN-Lists, Technique, Preparation);
working team-member, organising parts of the program;
organising and working in the Info-stands on regional and national events
