Resumo: The Kindergarden is situated in one of the beautiful cities in Poland. The preschool is set just outside of the city in a picturesque rural location with lots of outside space. We are offering an early childhood education for children between the ages of three and six. Children can attend here from Monday to Friday from 6.30 am in the morning till 5 pm in the evening. Having started over 68 years ago as a small playgroup for railway families we have grown and developed over time and now cater for up to 300 children.

In January 2014 the preschool moved to a new site. The new building offers excellent facilities for both indoor and outdoor play. We have a theater room, breakfast/lunch canteen and large outside garden with playground area and plant growing section. From painting to herb growing, music and dance, we provide rich and varied learning environment to develop social skills. We work to understand and meet the needs of each child on an individual basis.

We run tailored Physical Education session and Speech therapy sessions. These are ran on different days so all children get an opportunity to take part. We do lots of interesting projects every year that stimulate child’s brain and gross and fine motor skills. This year, for example, we took for the first time The Destination Imagination (DI) challenge. This worldwide program is designed to teach students the creative process.

We started DI team, 6-year-old worked together on a rainbow-making machine to solve the problem of lack of joy and the problem of the existence of anger. We are pleased to say all staff and parents are involved in achieving the goals and aims held within the kindergarden. We welcome young people from Europe to share the passion of childcare with us.
