Resumo: The hosting organization is the body of youth participation, Our main objective is the promotion of youth associations and volunteering.

Since 1992, have been working in the field of volunteerism at the local level, precisely by means of registered in the same partnerships, currently more than 60 and their activities. In order to carry out this work carry the:

ASSOCIATIVE YOUTH PARTICIPATION PROGRAMME

It is a programme for the promotion of youth participation, both through associations such as belonging to the same volunteers, or external associations voluntary.

Help European young people is our proposal, especially people with few opportunities, we want to offer them this alternative formation and so they could have an opportunity to gain new social and language skills, and a solid base for the cultural and personal enrichment of the volunteers.

In addition, we are a collective that includes more than 60 youth associations with different aims and activities. Each association has also its own partners. We think that voluntaring is an excellent way to know this kind of associations and their projects and to participate on it. A lot of these associacions has similar aims to his analogous ones in the rest of Europe, and this fact could be very useful to know the same projects but in other countries

Perfil: Interest in working with disadvantaged groups at risk of exclusion. Knowledge and/or interest in topics like human rights, social inclusion and integration, international relations, etc. French-speaker. Minimal knowledge of Spanish (level A2 and wish to learn more). Knowledge of English is a plus. (Will facilitate your integration if your Spanish isn’t very good at the beginning). Interested in discovering the Spanish culture. Between 18 and 30 years old.

Tarefas: We are looking for a motivated volunteer for our next ESC project that will be developed in collaboration with various local NGOs working with disadvantaged groups like refugees, minorities, youngsters, etc. Duration: middle of Jan 2020-Jan 2021 (1 year). Main Activities: - The volunteer will participate in the general volunteer activities like promoting Erasmus+ and ESC, organizing language workshops and other ongoing youth projects. The volunteer will also have the full support and help with his/hers on-arrival orientation and integration in our team and the community in our town. - Collaborations: The volunteer will collaborate with wide-range of local NGOs working with people at risk of exclusion. Depending on the volunteers abilities and interests those might be collaboration with the Red Cross and other NGOs working with refugees, minorities, youth, etc

Condições: The volunteer will share a flat with other ESC volunteers (will have his own room, shared bathroom, rent and bills covered by the project) The volunteer will receive monthly amount for food (150 euro) and pocket money (150 euro), which is enough to cover your expenses in a relatively cheap town like Ciudad Real Travel costs to and from Ciudad Real are covered by the project (plain, train, bus, metro tickets, etc, except taxi)
