Resumo: Our organization was made by people who wants to change own local community. We collected 16 members of our association to act together for us and for people around us - our town and region. Establishing our association was meant for 3 reasons: creation of community center, European Volunteer Service and Volunteer's Centre.

Main aim of our association is increasing local activitism of citizens by enabling them to act as volunteers.
Target groups of the organization are Kwidzyn's citizens, people and institutions who want to work on the field of local activitism, mainly volunteering.

We were established in January 2015, but people working there (actually 5 people) have big experience in working in different NGO and local institutions. We are all over 30 years old, having more than 13-20 years experience organizing local and international project, Poland and on international level.
As people working in the organization we were mainly involved in European Volunteer Service and local projects. We started EVS in Gdynia and Gdańsk, later we transfered the experience and knowledge to Kwidzyn to Eco-Initiative Association.

From September 2015 we started to host, send and coordinate volunteers as the Association. In 2017 we are hosting/coordinating almost 20 EVS what made us one of the biggest EVS organization in Poland.
We are proffessionalist on the field of EVS, that is why we are developing volunteer center and spirit in our town.

In addition, the Aqueduct is the only organization in Kwidzyn that deals with intercultural education. Thanks to our foreign volunteers and other international activities we make a great world of hardships to Kwidzyn.
International meetings (presentations for about 50 people per month), workshop themes (Brazil, Uganda etc.) and language workshops we have become a truly international center in our city. We meet close to 100 people every month who participate in our activities.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: We have 2 offers, only for motivated candidates. Start of projects:
1. Special School Duration:To help in the work with children with a light, moderate, significant and deeper mental handicap as well as the ones with coupled disabilities. Taking to and fetching the children from curricular and extracurricular classes, preparing various didactic materials for classes, helping in daily classes. Giving support to the teacher in Adapting to Work classes

2. Integrational Kindergarten - Conducts pre-school education for children with disabilities, autism spectrum and healthy kids between 3 – 6 y.o. Helping to lead games, attend and conduct classes in English, assist in working with children with disabilities, helping during lunch, daily hygiene, walks.
