Resumo: The family centre was set up in 2007 as a place for parents with small children, children und young people. The centre offers a number of activities for adults with the option of having their children looked after for the entire duration of the activity.

We offer various activities for children und youth as well.

Mission:
- promotion and protection of the family with children- multi-generational cohabitation- prevention of socially pathological phenomens- promotion and protection of young people- offer a variety of ways for adults, children and young people to spend their spare time in a way they find enriching; contribute to life-long education via discussions, seminars and lecturesTarget groups: depens on aktivity, maily women, but we tra hart to get involved more men:- age 0 - 50+:- parents on parental leave or parents with small children - healthy exercise, helathy meal, snoezelen, experiential family afternoon, counseling- families - experiential family afternoon, holiday stays, counseling- children and young people - graffiti, workshops, daycare camp, snoezelen, counseling- adults - rehabilitation and healthy exercise, educatin, snoezelen, counselingActivities: workout exercises (zumba, callanetics, pilates, poweryoga, rehabilitation exercises, Exercise with Bosu, dance and musical preparation of small children, etc.) cultural events (discussions about art, support of traditions and crafts, multlicultural events with the volunteers) drawing classes (graffiti, encaustic painting etc.), educational classes (effective parenting, pre-school preparation, healthy lifestyle, financial literacy etc.), leisure time activities for children und youth (shamanic drumming, board games, free games etc.)nursery school - for children from 2 to 5 years old.During the year we organize at the weekeneds some plays, exhibitions, sports or hand made activities, afternoons for children and their parents. To the other activities belong eg. Family afternoon with shamanic drumming, graffiti, cooking etc.)During holiday we organise daycare camp.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
We are looking for an active, motivated young person, who will be able to work in a team. A person who is interested in work with children, youth and adults and wants to impement new projects of his/her own. We would prefer a volunteer who can communicate in English, is responsible and creative. We are open to volunteers with limited opportunities but due to bad accessability to the first floor, we are not able to accept volunteers on a wheelchair. We also ask volunteers for their CV and motivation letter in English. Previous experiences with work with children are neccessary.

Tarefas: The volunteer will be involved in the entire operation of the organization. She/ he well be given opportunities to work according to their best abilities and they will have the support of the staff while doing so. The volunteer will work in leisure time activities (workshops, courses, intercultural events), help children in the nursery school (helping the teacher, organise ativities for children of age 2 - 5) or work with adults.

Volunteers work 7 hours per day (35 hours per week). The volunteer also organize language courses (in mother tongue or other language according to the interest of volunteer). Volunteers will also learn czech language. Occasionally volunteers organise or participate on activities or workshops during the weekend.

Each volunteer will have a sufficient space to design and implement their own ideas. We also support volunteers in creating their own promotion materials for their workshops and activities.
