Resumo: The House welcomes residents with moderate mental disabilities, sometimes with behavioral problems. They have access to verbal language. It is the people in the Institution who have the most functional skills coupled with strong emotional dependence.
The educational teams focus on boosting the functional autonomy skills of each beneficiary, even if the methods differ according to the profile of everyone. Sometimes, they will be more in the do with than in the stimulation to act alone; sometimes they will be completely in the doing in place of but in the presence of ... Anyway, the residents are invited to participate according to their potentialities to the individual tasks, to the acts of the daily life, to the activities of social and leisure activities mainly focused on the outside.

In order to best meet the demands and needs of residents, an individual educational project meeting is held annually to take stock of the resident's living situation and to determine courses of action to be pursued in the future. . As much as possible and if he wishes, the resident is present at his project meeting. Indeed, we place a lot of importance on the fact that the resident is an actor of his life!
The resident is invited to participate in the life of the house: household chores, shopping, storage, menu displays, educational presences, the weather of the day, .... The supports used in the houses are panels with photos and / or pictograms to which the writing is always associated.

During the day, various intra or extra muros workshops are offered to residents following a weekly schedule that is intended to be as recurrent as possible. It meets the expectations of residents expressed or suggested at individual educational project meetings. The groups of the workshops are heterogeneous in the sense that one finds there residents of different houses. The more autonomous residents can anticipate their presence in the workshop thanks to the development of an individual schedule realized during the weekend (paper support with pictograms and / or photos).

The sensory axis favors the discovery of matter, the awakening of the senses in a pleasant rhythm and atmosphere.
The creation of adapted tools should allow everyone to express themselves to the best of their potential.
The training axis allows residents to progress in a given technique.
The axis of leisure and openness to the outside uses the artistic media as a source of meetings within the community.
- The project well-being, which is transversal in its philosophy: both towards people and places. However, a specific area allows you to devote in several activities such as cooking, storytelling, board games, media library; a relaxation area and a beauty salon.

The educational staff (Incl volunteers) therefore accompanies people in all the acts of daily life by adapting the care according to the abilities of each. It performs social health, nursing and socio-educational acts.
