Resumo: Our organization is a non-profit society that has established a school in 2014. At the moment the school is state-accredited educational institution and it provides certified learning program for 1-6 grades as well as kindergarten group. The main idea of learning is to ensure 360 degree approach which means to facilitate intellectual, social, emotional and physical development and mental health strengthening. Every class has maximum 12 children per class, one of which with special needs - which gives possibility to diversify the learning process by encouraging each child's active participation, taking into account the special interests, abilities and needs.
Perfil: Age: 18-30
candidate should have willingness to work with children, previous experience in the activities with kids is preferable. Since we are planning creative activities, we are interested in candidate who has musical or artistic background or is interested in sports and sports activities, because sport is a important part of extracurricular activities. Basic level of English language for candidate is preferable. Very important is wish to learn and grow together with us.
Tarefas: We plan to give the volunteers the opportunity to contribute to the development of non-formal education through collaboration with educators, parents and children, allowing them to share their own experiences, knowledge and initiatives. This will result in:
- emphasised the role of non-formal education in the growth of different individuals;
- improved and diversified leisure time opportunities for different target groups;
- organised events for the community involving all its members (concerts, board games evenings, sports activities, etc.);
- developed communications of individuals involved in the project, decisions, etc. skills that are essential for any person's further career;
- different cultures will be get to know;
- enhanced targeted cooperation between different organisations.
As activities, we implement community activities for children with families, parent education, teacher education, non-formal education activities for children (including special needs). Our experience shows that the involvement of volunteers in this process creates significant added value. The public sees that we are investing additional resources in achieving community-relevant goals - we show openness to diversity in practice, sharing experiences involving volunteers, demonstrating the opportunity to work with people who to some extent (culture, language, etc.) differ from us in pursuit of one goal - By engaging in the project, we as an organisation and society as a whole will continue to learn to assess the role of non-formal education in the process of personal growth and the impact of personalities on the organisation and community.
