Resumo: The Association is a voluntary, non-profit and non-governmental organization, which endeavours for the wellbeing of children, youth and families. It has been established in 1952. Programmes are going on through the whole year and are focused on target groups from the wide public. The emphasis is on the equal possibilities for all participants and free participation as a rule.

Among constant activities there are the following projects:

Children's parliament
Readership club
Entertainment at the day of the family (15th May)
Excursions
Holiday programmes (workshops, summer camps, sports acitvities)
Humanitarian actions and programmes
Study circles for adults
Week of the child
Meeting of famililes
Merry December
Theatre shows
Projects with volunteers
Promotion of voluntary service in the local community
Cooperation with organizations and associations with similar programmes.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas:
- Presentations of Portugal and its culture, Portugal language on primary schools
- Different activities for primary schools (creative workshops, sports activities, language hours – English or Portugal / these activities depend on volunteer interests, wishes…
- Helping with English (basic level)and playing with kids with special needs
- Helping our volunteers with different free time activities for children (creative workshops, sports activities, social games, excursions, summer camps, animator for children on events…), later leading these activities with help of volunteer
- Presenting ESC project and activities on our web page, Facebook, notice board, taking photos of activities, if a volunteer wants: writing a blog, articles for local newspaper
- Helping with preparation for different events in our programmes
- Pre- departure, mid and end evaluation trainings organized by our National agency
- We offer a basic course of Slovene language
- His/her own project: there will be enough time and resources that a volunteer can realize his/her own project.

Horário: Office hours are from Monday to Friday from 9.00 till 12.00 and from 12:30 till 15:00. Workshops and other events take place also on Saturdays and Sundays.
