Resumo: The hosting organization is a sheltered workshop for mentally disabled adult people who work as professional artists. The organization is composed of 13 artists with mental challenge who are doing performing arts. They do rehearsals, acting exercises and training. Creative arts are part of their work (stage design, costume, drawings, preparing photography). They perform street, stage-shows and are holding workshops for other groups. The main purpose of the coordinating organization is to promote the integration of disabled people in our society. Therefore it is important for us to encourage young interested adults without disabilities to work with people with disabilities so that everyone can learn from each other. The exchange with young people from other countries and cultures also enriches our daily work. We, work, we learn, we meet on a real human level and have fun doing it.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: The role of EVS volunteers in our organization:
- Assisting the educators in supervising and assisting people with disabilities
- Active participation in group life (13 artists with disabilities) and participation during the activities in the sheltered workshop: helping to dress, kitchen-activities, cleaning,
- Participation in arts activities: warm-up, design and drawings, performing training, games, dance, music, circus techniques, discussions, readings, visit of museums and theatre performances etc.
- Developing activities, new projects or ideas: eg in music, dance, film

Condições: -We ensure healthy and decent living conditions and administrative support for the volunteer. We have a room in a shared house in Beggen. Local transport will be covered with an annual ticket. -We will ensure that the volunteer will be integrated as much as possible into the community. (Work and private, we make small trips, dinners, sightseeing, meet local people) -We make sure that the volunteer can always reach us in case of problems. (Team of coordinator mentor/tutor, 24/24 7 days a week). -at the project, there is warm food everyday.
