Resumo: The Youth Information Centre works in the fields of youth information and youngsters involvement in an active citizenship. It deals in particular with counselling on education, training and job, mobility abroad and youth participation in the activities. The daily activities consist in organising of paper and digital information and promoting events and training activities about guidance, mobility, volunteering, learning and training opportunities, that often take place also in the high schools. The Centre is the place of innovation, professional training and new professions, with lot of spaces and rooms for lessons, workshops, training courses and so on.

Perfil:  age between 18-30 years old
 interested in youth issues
 willing to get involved in communicating with young people
 team spirit
 responsible, creative, curious, open-minded
 good competences in using computer, internet, social networks

Tarefas: The volunteer will be involved in the following activities
 Work with young people, public relation - front office, mostly spreading information about the opportunities for youth offered by Erasmus+ Program
 Work with students in high schools (meetings, infodesk during schooltime...) giving basic information about EVS and other opportunities (job, voluntarism, youth participation, etc.)
 Events organization
 management and promotion of the spaces that are reserved to young students aged 14-25 and to co-workers.
 help youth workers to find funding opportunities to achieve the main purposes of Polo B55 and the other services for minors and youth and to participate to new Erasmus+ projects, i.e. youth exchanges or training courses for youth workers.
Beside this, volunteer, in cooperation with the other EVS volunteers, will be involved in addictional activities and their tasks will be:
 Participate to linguistic exchanges called tandem: we successfully organised conversation groups (max. 10 people) or linguistic one-to-one exchanges in French, English, Dutch and Spanish.
