Resumo: Christmas time is a special period. Unfortunately, many people feel lonely and unenthusiastic even at this time. We believe that carols can bring people together. Through music we want to bring local society closer and restore the tradition of singing Christmas carols. We want to spread the merry singing all over Europe; in Polish household, hospitals and volunteers’ homes and societies.

In the project “Hey Christmas carol” the volunteers will prepare international Christmas carols and presentations on the Christmas tradition prevailing in their countries. The volunteers will be singing at pre-Christmas meetings with sick, disabled people and seniors in various hospices in Bydgoszcz.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: The volunteers will help organize the Santa Claus Christmas Fair in the Centre of Catholic Culture Wiatrak on which they will perform international Christmas carols in front of Wiatrak’s Christmas market visitors and guests. During the meetings with local society the volunteers will promote the beauty of European cultural heritage and volunteering within the European Solidarity Corps.
