Resumo: The organization is an Italian non-profit association including around 5000 centres spread all over Italy.
Our association coordinates more than 50 centres in the local area, promotes and encourages collective actions of citizens in the general interest. We work to promote the right to freedom association, volunteering, the development of non-profit sector and the civil economy, subsidiarity, improving social participation and political life of citizens. The organization participates in many rights campaigns; it works for the system of protection of asylum seekers and refugees and it is a partner in many social development projects for youth policies and community welfare.
We have confidence in young people, in their ability to contribute to a better future, where there is no room for any injustice.

Our purpose is to improve the accessibility to local services for young people, refugees and asylum seekers, promote their participation in the community and facilitate their ability to reach personal and collective self-fulfilment in an autonomous and civically responsible manner.
The title of our project, arises from the desire to see and recognize young people as a generation that travels, moves and therefore increases its knowledge and skills and then returns as a boomerang in their life, profession and territory.

Perfil: - motivation and interest in acquiring or developing skills in social and cultural planning;
- interested in issues in the field of youth policies and social and intercultural inclusion;
- experiences or motivation in the fields of art/creative/video-making(photography, video, music);
- tendency to collaboration and to group work
- receptivity to changes and to confront themselves in various social and cultural contexts;
We consider important to being proactive, motivated to learn a foreign language and to get involved with new activities.
A feature that is considered useful for the performance of some proposed activities and for their success is a strong motivation and interest to learn the Italian language. For this reason, we will encourage the participation in Italian language courses and we will promote as much as possible the use of the Italian language during the volunteer period.

Tarefas: The aims of our volunteering project are:
• introducing young people into the world of associations and non-profit, bringing them closer to the themes of cooperation, social planning, volunteer work, democracy and interculturalism through the activities developed by our association,

• providing expertise in these areas that can be useful for their future life and profession.

In particular, the activities will be the following:
- participating in planning and realization of workshops and courses for refugees
- participating in the planning and carrying out of awareness activities of the host community with respect to the theme "migrants and migrations", to the right to asylum and anti-discrimination
- planning, promotion and implementation of cultural, musical, informational events
- participating in workshops, seminars, training/informative meetings aimed at better management and implementation of the activities
- participation in the planning and implementation of fundraising and people raising activities to support the autonomy and independence of young people present in the Mantuan territory
- participation in the planning and implementation of informative/cultural meetings to promote the possibilities of orientation and self-fulfillment for young people in the field of school, professional and residential orientation
- participation in the planning and implementation of community interventions targeting the young people of the Mantuan territory to promote their autonomy and their possibilities for self-fulfilment

Horário: The volunteer will work 30/35 hours per week distributed in 5 days (two days a week rest).
He/she will work from Monday to Friday, except for those situations that require working in the weekends for special events.

Condições: Practical information: all essential costs related to volunteering project are covered. The volunteer will be provided with a food allowance, accommodation, monthly pocket money, insurance, a bicycle and a local transport pass. The costs of the international travel are covered up according to the flat rates designated by the distance calculator from the European Commission.

Food: the volunteer will receive € 215 monthly. We suggest to share the expenses with the other volunteer in order to maximize resources.

Accommodation: the volunteer will live in a room in a shared flat with the other volunteer. The flat will be fully furnished and provided with standard equipment and necessities. All expenses are included (electricity, water, gas).

Pocket money: every month, within the 10 first days, the volunteer will receive money for their personal expenses according to the rates planned by Italian NA.

Local transport: the host organization will provide a bicycle and a public transport pass for the volunteer.

Linguistic support: the volunteer has the right to receive linguistic support through an online platform, as indicated in the Erasmus+ program guide and a face-to-face language support is provided by the organization.

Insurance: the insurance provided to our volunteers is defined by the EVS group insurance policy provided for in the Erasmus + program and provided by CIGNA.
